Nuestra tecnología patentada de woofer de línea delgada comprime la arquitectura del 13TW5v2 utilizando una estructura de "tubo concéntrico" que soporta la bobina móvil de 7 pulgadas de diámetro y los accesorios de suspensión. Esto permite colocar la estructura del motor grande mucho más adelante en el altavoz que con los diseños convencionales, al tiempo que permite una excelente capacidad de excursión lineal y estabilidad mecánica.
Para aprovechar aún más el rendimiento de esta tecnología, el v2 mejora el 13TW5 original con un 13% más de capacidad de excursión lineal. El chasis de aleación fundida también se ha modificado para mayor resistencia y el motor rediseñado ahora presenta una ventilación anular. El v2 también está disponible en versiones de bobina móvil simple de 2 ohmios y de 4 ohmios para adaptarse a una amplia gama de aplicaciones.
De acuerdo con su misión de “espacios reducidos”, el 13TW5v2 está optimizado para gabinetes que son mucho más pequeños de lo que requieren la mayoría de los woofers de 12 pulgadas y solo un poco más grandes que las necesidades de espacio aéreo de un woofer típico de caja pequeña de 10 pulgadas. Those guys are really professional! I had a new Alpine floating head unit installed in my 2008 Mercedes, and it feels like a brand-new car. The installation was super clean. At first, the sound wasn’t the same as the factory stereo, but Kevin tuned it to be just as good—if not better—without adding any new amps. Kevin was awesome, he took his time and explained everything to me. I went in initially for a dash cam install and then decided to get a sub and amp installed as well. Both turned out great and will be returning if I need more work done.

Highly recommend Kevin and the team at San Diego Car Stereo for any issues with aftermarket stereos. I bought a car with an aftermarket stereo and AC unit that wasn’t working properly—specifically, the heat wasn’t functioning due to an improper setup.
