Seamless Connectivity
The HCE-C1100 is built for universal compatibility, utilizing a standard RCA video output that connects to almost any aftermarket head unit with a camera input. The kit includes a 23-foot power/video cable, providing plenty of length for installation in everything from compact cars to large SUVs. For Alpine-specific systems, it integrates perfectly for automatic triggering when the vehicle is shifted into reverse.
Safety & Convenience
With its miniature footprint (less than 1 inch wide), this camera can be mounted virtually anywhere on the rear of the vehicle without being an eyesore. The included mounting bracket allows for adjustable angles to get the perfect view of your bumper or the road behind you. It is also compatible with the optional Alpine KTX-C10LP license plate frame (sold separately) for an even cleaner, centered installation.
Enhanced Audio & Ambiance
While this camera doesn't produce audio, it dramatically enhances the "visual ambiance" and safety of your driving experience. The HDR processing significantly reduces "light bloom"—the blinding effect caused by sun glare or trailing headlights at night. This results in a much sharper, more reliable image than standard CMOS cameras, giving you a professional-grade view of your surroundings.
