The ALP-HRN-CAMCH features a vehicle-specific plug that matches the input on the back of select Jeep/Chrysler factory radios. It terminates in a universal yellow RCA video input, making it compatible with a wide range of Alpine cameras including the HCE-C1100 and the HCE-TCAM1-WRA spare tire camera. The 4-foot length is precisely measured to reach the passenger-side kick panel, where most primary camera power and video connections are made.
Safety & Convenience
This harness simplifies the installation of a backup camera by eliminating the need for complex wire splicing or hunting for the correct pins on the back of your radio. It provides a clean, plug-and-play interface that looks and performs like a factory component. Note that after installation, your Jeep's factory radio will require programming/flashing by a dealer or via a third-party OBDII programmer (like the Alpine SGS-CH01) to "activate" the camera display feature.
