The Alpine KAC-001 is an external accessory control module that turns your compatible Alpine touchscreen receiver into a centralized command hub. Seamless Connectivity
The KAC-001 integrates flawlessly with select Alpine Restyle and multimedia receivers via a dedicated interface harness. It requires an iDatalink® Maestro module (sold separately) for communication with the vehicle's data bus, ensuring that your touchscreen and accessories talk to each other without lag. The set includes a full suite of harnesses—Power, Interface, and an 8-channel Output harness—to simplify the wiring process and keep your installation organized.
Safety & Convenience
Simplify your cabin by moving your accessory controls to the dash. The KAC-001 features eight individual (-) 250mA accessory outputs designed to trigger external relays. By centralizing these controls, you can operate high-current devices like motorized tonneau covers or air compressors with a single tap, keeping your eyes on the road or trail instead of searching for toggle switches in the dark.
Enhanced Audio & Ambiance
While it doesn't affect your speakers, this controller significantly improves your vehicle's "technological ambiance." The interface allows you to assign graphical icons and custom text labels to each accessory, making it easy to identify your light bar, winch, or trunk release at a glance. Fine Tune Your Sound
The KAC-001 offers advanced logic for your electrical extras. You can "fine-tune" how each accessory reacts by configuring the outputs as Pulsed, Latched, or Momentary. This ensures compatibility with a wide variety of third-party hardware—for example, a "Pulsed" output for a trunk release versus a "Latched" output for continuous fog lights—giving you professional-grade control over every bolt-on accessory.
