The RS-SB10 is engineered for immediate, high-efficiency output. The internal 10-inch subwoofer features dual 4-ohm voice coils that are pre-wired in parallel, presenting a 2-ohm nominal load at the recessed terminal cup. This configuration is an optimal power match for Alpine’s mono amplifiers, such as the S2-A60M or R2-A75M, ensuring you get the full 600W RMS of performance right out of the box.

Built from rugged 3/4" MDF and wrapped in premium black carpet, this enclosure is as durable as it is sleek. It includes adjustable, stackable rubber feet and spacers, allowing you to set up the box in an up-firing or down-firing configuration to navigate uneven floors or maximize bass loading against the vehicle's cabin. A pre-installed steel mesh grille ensures the subwoofer remains protected from shifting cargo at all times.

Don't let the slim profile fool you; the RS-SB10 features the same 20mm of 1-way excursion as full-sized R-Series subwoofers. It utilizes Alpine’s Gen2 DD-Linear Magnetic Circuit and a powerful neodymium magnet to maintain precise control and lower distortion. The rigid aluminum dust cap provides a high-tech visual ambiance and ensures a hard-hitting, smooth bass response across its 29Hz–200Hz range.
Fine Tune Your Sound
To handle sustained high-volume play, the enclosure incorporates integrated cooling fins and Alpine’s CoolMount™ Dual-panel motor mount. These technologies efficiently dissipate heat, allowing you to "fine-tune" your audio experience for hours of uninterrupted playtime. For those who want to expand their system, the enclosure is also compatible with the ProLink™ linking system, allowing you to join two units together for a massive dual-sub setup.

Those guys are really professional! I had a new Alpine floating head unit installed in my 2008 Mercedes, and it feels like a brand-new car. The installation was super clean. At first, the sound wasn’t the same as the factory stereo, but Kevin tuned it to be just as good—if not better—without adding any new amps. They even used my factory GPS antenna so I don’t have extra wires hanging out. On top of that, they matched the online price. Big thanks to Kevin and Eddie—highly recommended!
Kevin was awesome, he took his time and explained everything to me. I went in initially for a dash cam install and then decided to get a sub and amp installed as well. Both turned out great and will be returning if I need more work done.

Highly recommend Kevin and the team at San Diego Car Stereo for any issues with aftermarket stereos. I bought a car with an aftermarket stereo and AC unit that wasn’t working properly—specifically, the heat wasn’t functioning due to an improper setup. I had several people look at it with no luck, and even the dealership basically refused to help because it was an aftermarket install.
