The RUX-H01 provides a direct connection to a wide range of Alpine amplifiers. It is multi-amp capable, meaning you can control multiple amplifiers simultaneously using a standard phone cable splitter (sold separately). The package includes a 16.4-foot (5-meter) cable with RJ-14 plugs on both ends, providing plenty of length for routing through any vehicle cabin.
Safety & Convenience
This knob offers multiple mounting options for maximum convenience. It is designed to attach directly to the edge of an Alpine Halo display, keeping the control within easy reach. Alternatively, it can be flush-mounted or surface-mounted on the dashboard for a more traditional look. This versatility ensures that you can make quick adjustments to match different music genres or driving conditions safely while on the road.
Enhanced Audio & Ambiance
The controller allows you to adjust the amplifier gain from 0 to -20 dB (though some specifications note a range of 0 to -12 dB depending on the amplifier). The silver rotary dial provides a high-end visual ambiance that matches the premium build quality of Alpine's Halo receiver lineup.

Those guys are really professional! I had a new Alpine floating head unit installed in my 2008 Mercedes, and it feels like a brand-new car. The installation was super clean. At first, the sound wasn’t the same as the factory stereo, but Kevin tuned it to be just as good—if not better—without adding any new amps. They even used my factory GPS antenna so I don’t have extra wires hanging out. On top of that, they matched the online price. Big thanks to Kevin and Eddie—highly recommended!
Kevin was awesome, he took his time and explained everything to me. I went in initially for a dash cam install and then decided to get a sub and amp installed as well. Both turned out great and will be returning if I need more work done.

Highly recommend Kevin and the team at San Diego Car Stereo for any issues with aftermarket stereos.
