Product Overview:
The Alpine S2-SB10 is a next-generation 10-inch preloaded subwoofer enclosure that introduces the PrismaLink™ system, combining high-performance bass with integrated RGBW lighting. This sealed wedge enclosure is designed to fit comfortably in a variety of vehicle types while providing a modern, customizable aesthetic. It comes preloaded with an S2-W10D4 driver, specifically engineered to deliver a punchy and accurate low-end response.
Features
Integrated RGBW Lighting
The standout feature of the S2-SB10 is its built-in lighting system. Two RGBW trim bars run along the front of the enclosure, offering 12 static colors and 4 dynamic modes. These can be controlled via the included IR remote or directly through the touchscreen interface of an Alpine iLX-W670 receiver (sold separately) using the Lighting Link feature.
PrismaLink™ Multi-Link Capability
For users wanting more impact, the PrismaLink™ design allows you to daisy-chain multiple enclosures together. Using the optional KTX-LK10 linking kit, you can physically and electronically connect two or more S2-SB10 units. This creates a unified visual and audio display, with the lighting synchronized across all linked enclosures.
Advanced S-Series Performance
The internal driver features Alpine’s High-Amplitude Multi-Roll (HAMR) surround, which allows for extreme excursion while maintaining precise control. The cone is constructed from a carbon fiber and polypropylene blend, making it both lightweight and rigid for fast, accurate transients. With a power handling of 600W RMS, this system is built to provide significant "thump" without distorting at higher volumes.
Rugged Wedge Design
The enclosure is built from 3/4" MDF and wrapped in premium black carpet, ensuring it can withstand the vibrations of high-output bass. Its sealed wedge shape is optimized for tight, accurate bass reproduction and easy placement against the back of vehicle seats. The terminal cup features spring posts that are pre-wired in parallel to present a simple 2-ohm load to your amplifier.

Those guys are really professional! I had a new Alpine floating head unit installed in my 2008 Mercedes, and it feels like a brand-new car. The installation was super clean. At first, the sound wasn’t the same as the factory stereo, but Kevin tuned it to be just as good—if not better—without adding any new amps. They even used my factory GPS antenna so I don’t have extra wires hanging out. On top of that, they matched the online price. Big thanks to Kevin and Eddie—highly recommended!
Kevin was awesome, he took his time and explained everything to me. I went in initially for a dash cam install and then decided to get a sub and amp installed as well. Both turned out great and will be returning if I need more work done.

Highly recommend Kevin and the team at San Diego Car Stereo for any issues with aftermarket stereos. I bought a car with an aftermarket stereo and AC unit that wasn’t working properly—specifically, the heat wasn’t functioning due to an improper setup. I had several people look at it with no luck, and even the dealership basically refused to help because it was an aftermarket install.
