The Hertz MLK 700.3 Legend is a specialized two-way system designed to provide a mid-high frequency range of absolute excellence. By handling everything from 200 Hz up to 28 kHz, this kit is intended to be paired with a dedicated Mille Legend woofer (like the ML 1650.3) in a multi-amplified setup. This configuration minimizes phase rotations and ensures disarming timbre consistency, allowing the speakers to "disappear" and leave only the emotion of the music.

V-cone® Exponential Profile: The ML 700.3 midrange utilizes a dustcap-free V-cone® for exceptional dispersion. This synergistic design allows for an outstanding high-frequency extension, making a purist two-way front stage possible.

ML 280.3 Legend Tweeter: This system features the reference-standard 35 mm (1.38 in.) Tetolon dome tweeter. It is engineered for maximum transparency and a very low resonant frequency, ensuring a seamless blend with the midrange driver.

Mid-Contour Control: The dedicated MLCX 2 TM.3 crossover features a unique three-position selector. This allows you to vary the cross-point between the midrange and tweeter to achieve the perfect sound balance for your specific vehicle.

Neodymium Magnetic Group: Both the midrange and tweeter utilize high-density Neodymium magnets. This provides a high-energy magnetic field for maximum control and dynamic response while keeping the mounting profile compact.

Those guys are really professional! I had a new Alpine floating head unit installed in my 2008 Mercedes, and it feels like a brand-new car. The installation was super clean. At first, the sound wasn’t the same as the factory stereo, but Kevin tuned it to be just as good—if not better—without adding any new amps. They even used my factory GPS antenna so I don’t have extra wires hanging out. On top of that, they matched the online price. Big thanks to Kevin and Eddie—highly recommended!
Kevin was awesome, he took his time and explained everything to me. I went in initially for a dash cam install and then decided to get a sub and amp installed as well. Both turned out great and will be returning if I need more work done.

Highly recommend Kevin and the team at San Diego Car Stereo for any issues with aftermarket stereos. I bought a car with an aftermarket stereo and AC unit that wasn’t working properly—specifically, the heat wasn’t functioning due to an improper setup. I had several people look at it with no luck, and even the dealership basically refused to help because it was an aftermarket install.
