The Hertz MP 25.3 PRO (Part Number: MP 25.3) is a high-end tweeter set from the Mille Pro series, engineered to provide an expansive and linear frequency response. By utilizing a Tetolon® fiber dome and a specialized Center Tuning Duct, these tweeters achieve a remarkably low resonance frequency. This design allows for a lower crossover point with woofers, effectively elevating the soundstage and delivering a more immersive, natural listening experience in any vehicle.

Tetolon® Fiber Soft Dome: These 29 mm (1.14 in.) tweeters feature a Tetolon® fiber diaphragm and a 25 mm voice coil. This material is prized for its ability to provide a natural yet highly detailed reproduction of musical nuances, ensuring your high-end audio remains crisp without becoming harsh or fatiguing.
Center Tuning Duct Geometry: Positioned in the center of the magnetic circuit, the Center Tuning Duct ensures a balanced exchange of air between the dome and the rear load chamber. This acoustic fine-tuning significantly lowers the resonance frequency and reduces harmonic distortion for cleaner sound.
High-Density Neodymium Magnet: The high-energy neodymium motor is optimized using FEM (Finite Element Method) modeling. This provides utmost control over the voice coil during high-energy dynamic transients, resulting in superior accuracy in the mid-high frequency range.
Damped Rear Chamber: The rear chamber is filled with selected damping material and sized specifically to lower the speaker's Fs (resonance frequency). This ensures a well-damped high-pass roll-off, which allows the tweeters to be crossed over at lower frequencies for better integration with mid-bass drivers.

Those guys are really professional! I had a new Alpine floating head unit installed in my 2008 Mercedes, and it feels like a brand-new car. The installation was super clean. At first, the sound wasn’t the same as the factory stereo, but Kevin tuned it to be just as good—if not better—without adding any new amps. They even used my factory GPS antenna so I don’t have extra wires hanging out. On top of that, they matched the online price. Big thanks to Kevin and Eddie—highly recommended!
Kevin was awesome, he took his time and explained everything to me. I went in initially for a dash cam install and then decided to get a sub and amp installed as well. Both turned out great and will be returning if I need more work done.

Highly recommend Kevin and the team at San Diego Car Stereo for any issues with aftermarket stereos. I bought a car with an aftermarket stereo and AC unit that wasn’t working properly—specifically, the heat wasn’t functioning due to an improper setup. I had several people look at it with no luck, and even the dealership basically refused to help because it was an aftermarket install.
