The JL Audio C6-275cm is a flagship-level 2.75-inch (70 mm) midrange driver designed for serious audiophiles who want to build a high-fidelity 3-way or 4-way active system. Sharing much of its DNA with the elite C7 series, this speaker is engineered for surgical clarity in the critical midrange zone, delivering articulate vocals and detailed instrumental performance with exceptionally low distortion.

DMA-Optimized Motor System
At the heart of the C6-275cm is JL Audio's proprietary Dynamic Motor Analysis (DMA). This technology modeling system addresses motor linearity, ensuring the speaker remains accurate and transient-responsive even when played at high volumes. This results in a "tight" and faithful reproduction of your music.
Premium Material Construction
The driver features a mineral-filled polypropylene cone and a durable synthetic rubber surround. This combination provides the necessary stiffness to prevent cone breakup while remaining light enough to respond quickly to complex audio signals. The cast-alloy frame incorporates Elevated Frame Cooling to dissipate heat and maintain consistent performance during long listening sessions.
Designed for Active Systems
The C6 series is specifically designed for use in active systems managed by a Digital Signal Processor (DSP). Because it does not include a passive crossover, it allows for precise control over crossover points, delay, and equalization. It is ideally paired with the C6-650cw woofers and C6-100ct tweeters.
Versatile OEM Fitment
Despite its high-end performance, the C6-275cm is highly adaptable. It includes a screw-on interchangeable mounting system with adapter rings designed to fit common factory dashboard locations in vehicles from GM, Toyota, Ram, and various European manufacturers.
