• Mineral-Filled Polypropylene Cone: The vacuum-formed cone body features a gentle curvilinear profile to optimize frequency response. This material choice offers an ideal balance of low mass and high damping to prevent unwanted resonance.

• Oversized 32mm Voice Coil: The large-diameter, overhung voice coil is wound with copper wire on a fiberglass former. This design provides extended power handling and minimizes thermal compression, keeping your sound clear even during high-output sessions.

• Patented Elevated Frame Cooling: The purpose-engineered cast alloy basket features thin spokes to maximize rear open area. It incorporates JL Audio’s patented cooling technology to pump air directly over the voice coil for maximum thermal stability.

• Advanced Dust Cap: The dust cap went through ten prototype generations before the final design was approved. It attaches to the cone and voice coil former to specifically improve high-frequency behavior and mechanical integrity.

• Nomex®/Polycotton Spider: The moving assembly is suspended by a large-diameter, linear profile spider and a positive-roll rubber surround. This combination allows for exceptional linear excursion without premature restriction.

• T-Yoke Motor Topology: Utilizing a high-grade Y35 Strontium-ferrite magnet, the motor's magnetic field is precisely optimized to provide linear force throughout the driver's entire performance range.
