Carbon Fiber Cone Construction
The MS69MV utilizes a carbon fiber cone which provides an exceptional stiffness-to-weight ratio. This rigidity allows the speaker to remain composed and accurate at high volume levels, while the lightweight nature ensures it can respond quickly to complex musical transients, delivering tight mid-bass and clear midrange.
Center-Mounted Phase Plug
A standout design feature is the center-mounted black phase plug. By replacing a traditional dust cap with a stationary phase plug, Memphis reduces "cone cry" and unwanted resonances. This results in a much smoother frequency response and enhanced high-frequency extension, making the transition to a tweeter seamless.
Innovative MClip Crossover System
The included 12dB external passive crossovers ensure that the speaker only receives the frequencies it was designed to play. To simplify installation, Memphis developed the MClip mounting solution, which allows the crossover to be clipped directly onto the back of the speaker's magnet, saving space and reducing wiring clutter inside the door panel.
Expandable Audio System
The MS69MV is designed for growth. For a basic setup, it works as a powerful mid-woofer replacement. For the ultimate audiophile experience, it is designed to be paired with the MSA1 1" Tweeter for a 2-way system, or both the tweeter and the MS25 2.5" Midrange for a flagship 3-way component configuration.

Those guys are really professional! I had a new Alpine floating head unit installed in my 2008 Mercedes, and it feels like a brand-new car. The installation was super clean. At first, the sound wasn’t the same as the factory stereo, but Kevin tuned it to be just as good—if not better—without adding any new amps. They even used my factory GPS antenna so I don’t have extra wires hanging out. On top of that, they matched the online price. Big thanks to Kevin and Eddie—highly recommended!
Kevin was awesome, he took his time and explained everything to me. I went in initially for a dash cam install and then decided to get a sub and amp installed as well. Both turned out great and will be returning if I need more work done.

Highly recommend Kevin and the team at San Diego Car Stereo for any issues with aftermarket stereos.
