Product Overview:
The Viper 5308V is a mid-range 2-way car security and remote start system designed for convenience and reliable vehicle protection. It features a command-confirming LCD remote that provides visual and audible feedback for your commands, ensuring you know exactly when your car has started or if the alarm has been triggered. With a range of up to 1/4 mile, it allows you to cool down or warm up your vehicle from your home or office.

2-Way LCD Command Confirmation
The primary 7347V remote uses a clear LCD screen to confirm vehicle status. Whether you are locking the doors or remote-starting the engine, the remote will beep or vibrate to confirm the action was successful. This is a critical upgrade over standard 1-way systems where you have no way of knowing if the car received the signal unless you are within sight of it.
Comprehensive Security Suite
This system includes a Stinger® DoubleGuard® shock sensor that can distinguish between a light touch and a heavy impact to reduce false alarms. For theft prevention, it features a Failsafe® Starter Kill immobilizer to prevent hot-wiring. If an intrusion is detected, the Revenger® 6-tone siren provides a loud, distinct alert to deter thieves.
Convenience & Customization
Beyond security, the 5308V offers remote keyless entry and ignition-controlled door locks. It also includes two auxiliary outputs, which can be used to control additional features like a power trunk release or a window roll-up module. The system is also Viper SmartStart PRO compatible, allowing you to add a module later for full smartphone control and GPS tracking via the Viper app.
Flexible Remote Package
The system comes out of the box with two remotes: the premium 2-way LCD transmitter and a secondary 1-way 4-button companion remote. This provides a convenient backup for a second driver or for use when the primary remote is not needed.

Those guys are really professional! I had a new Alpine floating head unit installed in my 2008 Mercedes, and it feels like a brand-new car. The installation was super clean. At first, the sound wasn’t the same as the factory stereo, but Kevin tuned it to be just as good—if not better—without adding any new amps. They even used my factory GPS antenna so I don’t have extra wires hanging out. On top of that, they matched the online price. Big thanks to Kevin and Eddie—highly recommended!
Kevin was awesome, he took his time and explained everything to me. I went in initially for a dash cam install and then decided to get a sub and amp installed as well. Both turned out great and will be returning if I need more work done.

Highly recommend Kevin and the team at San Diego Car Stereo for any issues with aftermarket stereos.
